Peer evaluation - Weekly report

03/08/2020 : Arya Sukumaran

The session was handled by Arya Sukumaran. She discussed the” circular motion” topic which is a part of the Unit “Motion and laws of motion” in 9^th Standard physics. She wished and started the session asking questions to students. Then the discussion was started on the topic giving a good introduction. The session was handled in English and she could maintain the medium of instruction till the end of the class.  The session was handled as per the lesson plan only. She could manage the time properly. Audio visual aids and slides were used and activities were given to students. Enrichment activities were given. She summarized the portion and concluded properly.

 

06/08/2020 : Zephanya Vijay

The session was handled by Zephanya Vijay. She discussed the 3^rd chapter in 8^th standard chemistry “Padartha Swabhavam. She directly moved in to the topic and no questions were asked regarding the last session. The presentation of the topic was good and she showed examples and assigned activities to students. She could make the topic clear, but could not involve students in doing activities. All the activities were above average. The session was started in Malayalam and she could maintain the medium of instruction till the end. The session was handled as per the lesson plan only .Enrichment activities were given. The summarization of the topic was done and concluded the portion properly.

 

06/08/2020 : Adarsh S Mohan

The session was handled by Adarsh S Mohan. He discussed the 3^rd chapter in 8^th standard chemistry “Padartha Swabhavam. He directly started the topic and could not give a good introduction in the beginning. The presentation of the topic was average. Activities were given to students but did not make the learner involved in the activities. Slides were used to present the topic. Could not handle questions properly and should have been more confident in teaching and answering. The session was started in Malayalam and he could maintain the medium of instruction till the end Enrichment activities were not given. No Summerisation was done and could not conclude the session properly.

 

08/08/2020 : Clint Johnson

The session was handled by Clint Johnson. He discussed the topic “Distillation and Fractional distillation” from the unit of “Properties of Matter” in 8^th standard. Activity model was adopted and less activity were given. He did the introduction and the presentation beautifully. His subject knowledge was good. He could not make students involved the activities. The session was handled as per the lesson plan only .The session was handled in English and he could maintain the medium of instruction till the end of the class. Enrichment activities were given The summarization of the topic was done and concluded the portion properly.
